Tibet landslide: China organizes international media visit to Jilong

Chinese authorities have organized a group of international media outlets, including CNN and Reuters, to visit Jilong County in Tibet following a severe landslide. The media tour, organized by the State Council Information Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, took place from September 5 to 6 to showcase the disaster site and rescue efforts.

Official data released during the visit indicates the landslide has caused significant casualties. As of 6:00 PM on September 5, the disaster has resulted in 43 deaths, with 519 people reported missing.
