Ticiane Pinheiro joins Dança dos Famosos as Globo plans new roles

Presenter Ticiane Pinheiro is preparing to participate in the ‘Dança dos Famosos’ 2026, a move that serves as the first step in a broader career strategy by Globo. The broadcaster is considering several long-term roles for her, including a potential permanent position in morning programming or a strategic role on the show ‘Encontro’.

One proposed plan involves Pinheiro serving as a substitute for Patrícia Poeta during vacations and absences on ‘Encontro’ through August 2027. This approach follows a previous pattern used by the network to transition new presenters into major roles.

Pinheiro, who is 50, has expressed that this period marks a significant professional phase involving a change in network and a return to Rio de Janeiro. She noted that participating in the dance competition is an opportunity to step out of her comfort zone and show a more vulnerable, emotional side to the public.
