Tick activity increases during second autumn peak

Specialists from the National Public Health Center have reported a second peak in tick activity during the autumn season. This increase in risk coincides with common seasonal activities such as mushroom picking, berry gathering, and garden maintenance.

Residents are advised to remain cautious when spending time in forests or working in their gardens, as the risk of encountering ticks remains high despite the change in season. The warning applies to both long excursions into nature and brief outdoor tasks.
