Ticul authorities search for missing young woman Sandra Elizabeth Canul Cauich

Authorities and family members in Ticul, Yucatán, are searching for Sandra Elizabeth Canul Cauich after she was reported missing. She was last seen on Saturday morning in the center of the municipality.

Canul Cauich left her home in the San Román neighborhood around 9:00 AM. Her family reported that her cell phone has been turned off and she has not responded to calls or messages. While a post appeared on her personal Facebook account claiming she was safe and that searching was unnecessary, her relatives expressed distrust of the message, fearing someone else may be using her account.

She is described as having a thin build, approximately 1.30 meters tall, with brown skin and honey-colored eyes.
