Tiefenbronn Reopens Renovated Gemmingenhalle as Community Hub

The municipality of Tiefenbronn officially reopened the Gemmingenhalle after a two‑year renovation. Architect Stefan Voigt presented a symbolic baked pretzel to Mayor Frank Spottek during the ceremony, marking the handover of the modernised venue.

The celebration featured music by local ensembles, a children’s ballet, and a day‑long open house that attracted hundreds of visitors. Spottek described the hall as “a place of meeting, sport, culture, community and volunteering,” emphasizing its role as a central hub for local clubs and events.

The refurbished Gemmingenhalle now offers updated facilities for sports, cultural activities, and community gatherings, restoring its status as a key municipal landmark since its original opening in 1977.
