The KultFestival in Tiefthal is returning for its fourth edition, scheduled to take place from August 28 to 30. What began as a private initiative has grown into an established event with a program featuring 32 individual activities, including concerts, readings, crafts, photo exhibitions, and theater.
Organized by Tiefthal district mayor Daniel Stassny and his wife Juliane, the festival is funded through donations and grants, including cultural funding from the city of Erfurt. The event remains free to attend, relying on voluntary contributions from visitors.
Highlights of the upcoming program include the return of the musicians Gilbert Barracque and a reading by 16-year-old author Charlotte Zabel from her book ‘Evil is active’. The musical lineup also features a techno DJ performing on Saturday evening.
