Tiendas Neto opens new distribution center in Yucatán

Tiendas Neto has inaugurated a new distribution center (Cedis) in Kanasín, Yucatán, to strengthen its logistics and supply chain for the Peninsular region. The company has already invested over 670 million pesos in the state, with projections to exceed 1,000 million pesos by 2027.

Currently, the retailer operates 62 stores across 25 municipalities in Yucatán. The expansion plan includes opening 42 additional locations by 2027. This growth has generated 1,193 jobs, consisting of 718 direct and 475 indirect positions.

The new facility in Kanasín is expected to provide up to 130 local jobs. Local authorities, including Kanasín Mayor Edwin Bojórquez Ramírez and Yucatán Secretary of Economy and Labor Ermilo Barrera Novelo, noted that the project bolsters regional economic activity and provides opportunities for local suppliers.
