Río Grande's Paulo Freire School Becomes Central Hub for Education Administration

The Ministry of Education of the province of Tierra del Fuego announced that, beginning 4 August 2026, all administrative procedures, student enrollments and public acts for the Río Grande education system will be handled at the I.P.E.S. Paulo Freire school on Estrada 1575. Services will be open from 10:00 to 13:00 and require the original national identity document of both the student and a parent or guardian. A public appointment on 5 August 2026 will designate a substitute director for the Provincial School No. 11 “Pioneros Fueguinos”. Daily schedules for the delivery of teaching positions and hours are set for morning (08:00‑09:00) and afternoon (13:30‑14:00) slots, with teachers asked to arrive ten minutes early to register attendance. The centralisation aims to streamline procedures and improve access for educators and families in Río Grande.
