Expo Carreras y Oficios 2026 higher education vocational training Tierra del Fuego academic offerings

The seventh edition of the Expo Carreras y Oficios 2026 is providing educational and vocational information to youth in Tierra del Fuego. Following sessions in Río Grande and Tolhuin, the event concludes with a final day in Ushuaia at the IPRA.

In Tolhuin, the Municipal University Center presented academic opportunities developed in collaboration with various institutions. These include a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Technical degree in Cultural Management and Mediation through the Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia San Juan Bosco. Additionally, courses in Digital Literacy and Construction Project Management are offered in partnership with the Universidad Nacional de Tierra del Fuego.

The Secretariat of Youth Policies has launched a free web platform that aggregates 540 educational proposals from Río Grande, Tolhuin, and Ushuaia. This tool allows students and families to compare university degrees, technical training, vocational trades, and security force options.
