Tierra del Fuego hosts third Science and Technology Week

The third edition of the Fueguina Science and Technology Week was held in the cities of Ushuaia and Río Grande, attracting more than 2,500 participants. Organized by the Fueguian Innovation Agency through its Secretariat of Science and Technology, the event featured over 50 free activities, including workshops, lectures, exhibitions, and projections.

In Ushuaia, activities took place at various locations such as the Fábrica de Talentos, the Navy pier (ANAU), CADIC en Red, the National University of Tierra del Fuego (UNTDF), and Krund brewery. In Río Grande, events were hosted at the UTN-FRTDF library and Coirón brewery.

The event was a collaborative effort involving the Fueguian Innovation Agency, CADIC-CONICET, the National University of Tierra del Fuego, and the National Technological University (UTN – FRTDF). This inter-institutional cooperation aims to strengthen local scientific and technological capacities and promote knowledge dissemination within the region.
