Tierra del Fuego Judiciary holds virtual outreach in Antarctica

The Judiciary of Tierra del Fuego conducted a virtual outreach session with students and teachers at Escuela Nº 38 ‘Presidente Raúl Ricardo Alfonsín’, located at Base Esperanza in Argentine Antarctica.

As part of the ‘Acercándonos a la Comunidad’ (Approaching the Community) program, judicial authorities held a digital meeting with five primary school students and their teacher, Susana Alegre. The session focused on educating children about the risks associated with internet usage, social media, and online gaming, emphasizing preventive measures to ensure digital safety.

Participants from the Superior Tribunal de Justicia included President Dr. María del Carmen Battaini, Dr. Jesús González Saber, Jessica Name, Dr. María Florencia Arnst, and Romina Velazco. The initiative aimed to bridge the distance between the judicial system and educational communities located far from the mainland through interactive and educational activities.
