Tierra del Fuego officials host Tsinghua University delegation

Andrés Dachary, the Secretary for Malvinas, Antarctica, South Atlantic Islands and International Affairs, met with an academic delegation from China's Tsinghua University in Tierra del Fuego. The meeting was held as part of the Tsinghua University Student Leadership Tang Zhongying Program, which focuses on leadership, public service, governance, and social development.

Accompanied by Dr. Pablo Fontana, the coordinator of International Relations at the National University of Tierra del Fuego, the delegation included professors, researchers, and postgraduate students. The discussions centered on the institutional characteristics of the province and the specific challenges of public management within an insular and bicontinental territory.

Dachary emphasized that such exchanges are vital to the province's internationalization strategy, serving as tools to project Tierra del Fuego and foster new relationships by allowing international institutions to understand the region's reality and capabilities firsthand.
