Tierra del Fuego promotes hydrocarbon potential at Oil & Gas Patagonia
The Government of Tierra del Fuego, represented by the Ministry of Energy, participated in the Oil & Gas Patagonia event in Neuquén to showcase the growth potential of the Austral Basin. Energy Minister Gabriela Castillo stated that the objective is to attract investment, establish contacts with potential operators and service companies, and integrate new technologies into the province's activities.
Tierra del Fuego currently serves as the country's second largest gas basin, contributing approximately 19% of Argentina's total gas consumption. The provincial government aims to leverage the industry gathering to incorporate the province into the investment agendas of international and national capital holders to further develop its natural resources.
