Tierra del Fuego seeks international investment and new export markets

Tierra del Fuego is expanding its international trade strategy to attract investment and diversify its productive matrix. Carina Fernández, the Secretary of Investment, Development, and Foreign Trade, has led meetings with diplomats from several nations to promote the province's capabilities in technology, industry, timber, fishing, food, and agriculture.

Key developments include discussions with the United Arab Emirates ambassador, Saeed Abdulla Alqemzi, regarding technical and sanitary requirements for exports. The company Vitalcan is specifically looking to export organic pet food to the Middle East market. Additionally, meetings were held with the ambassadors of South Korea and India to present the province's natural resources, skilled labor, and potential for technological cooperation and investment.
