Ferreycorp and Argentine tourism sectors announce key initiatives

Ferreycorp will present its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) agenda at the Sustainable Peru Summit from September 24 to 26. The corporation will showcase its sustainability initiatives, including its 'Obras por Impuestos' program, which has invested over S/310 million in 19 projects benefiting more than 260,000 Peruvians. The presentation will also highlight technical training and environmental management practices.

In Argentina, several regions are preparing for the 30th edition of the International Tourism Fair (FIT) in Buenos Aires from September 26 to 29. Chubut will participate with over 60 exhibitors focusing on nature, adventure, and gastronomy. Tierra del Fuego will also be represented by the Instituto Fueguino de Turismo and approximately 50 local providers, aiming to strengthen commercial ties through business rounds and promote regional connectivity.

Additionally, Tierra del Fuego is advancing the update of its Sustainable Tourism Strategic Plan. This process involves technical teams and local stakeholders in Río Grande, Tolhuin, and Ushuaia to ensure long-term, sustainable development of the province's tourism sector, specifically focusing on the Tierra Mayor Natural and Scenic Reserve.
