Tifauziah Tyassuma's Court Hearings Delayed and Scheduled in Jakarta

A new indictment reading against Tifauziah Tyassuma, known as Dokter Tifa, was postponed by the East Jakarta District Court. The session originally set for 6 August 2026 was moved to 13 August after the presiding judge, Christina Endarwati, became unavailable due to a government duty. Court spokesperson Immanuel Tarigan confirmed the change and noted the delay was procedural, not substantive.

Separately, a pre‑trial (praperadilan) hearing for the same case is slated for 12 August 2026 at the South Jakarta District Court. The hearing will address whether the termination of prosecution was lawful. The defendant has named the Attorney General’s Office, represented by the Jakarta South Prosecutor’s Office, as the respondent. Both proceedings stem from accusations that Dokter Tifa fabricated a diploma bearing the name of former President Joko Widodo.
