Tiffany & Co. unveils limited edition Timer in titanium and platinum

Tiffany & Co. has unveiled a new limited edition of the Tiffany Timer in titanium and platinum, marking the 160th anniversary of the Maison’s first chronograph originally released in 1866. The production is restricted to 100 pieces worldwide.

The 40 mm timepiece features a satin-brushed Grade 5 titanium case paired with a polished platinum bezel. It is powered by a customized El Primero 400 integrated column-wheel chronograph calibre, which provides a 50-hour power reserve. The design includes a sunray dark blue dial with signature Tiffany Blue accents on the chronograph seconds track, sub-dial markings, and the date aperture.

A notable design element is the sapphire crystal caseback, which showcases a miniature 18k yellow-gold sculpture of Jean Schlumberger’s “Bird on a Rock.” This hand-polished sculpture is mounted onto the open-worked oscillating weight. The watch is completed with a navy alligator strap and offers water resistance up to 100 metres.
