TiGames unveils ZOOPUNK prequel at gamescom 2026

TiGames has unveiled a new trailer for ZOOPUNK, a third-person action RPG, during the gamescom Opening Night Live showcase. The game serves as a prequel to F. I. S. T. : Forged in Shadow Torch, set decades before the original title's events within the Animal Punk universe.

The trailer introduces three playable heroes with distinct combat styles: Rayton the rabbit, who utilizes agile melee and electrical attacks; Braton the rhino, a heavy hitter using a chainsaw; and Trixie the chipmunk, an acrobatic character using gun-fu tactics. A mysterious fourth character, a serval, was also teased.

Set in Torch City, the narrative explores the turbulent origins of the metropolis and the conflict involving the Spark, a mysterious power source. The struggle involves various animal factions and the Machine Legion. ZOOPUNK is slated for release in 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
