TİGEM to auction 3,050 small ruminants
The General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises (TİGEM) has announced an auction to sell 3,050 reformed small ruminants. The sale includes 300 Kangal Akkaraman sheep, 2,600 male Kangal Akkaraman lambs, and 150 female Kangal Akkaraman lambs.
The auction will be conducted in 15 separate lots based on live weight. The total estimated value for the livestock is calculated at 42,442,500 Turkish Liras. Pricing varies by animal type, with reformed sheep starting at a base price of 225 TL per kilogram and female lambs reaching up to 320 TL per kilogram.
The tender is scheduled to take place on September 24 at 14:00 before the Ulaş Agricultural Enterprise Purchasing, Selling, and Tender Commission. Interested bidders must submit their documents in person to the general registry service and provide a 10 percent temporary guarantee for each lot.
