Tiger Shroff shooting: Three suspects arrested in Kota following Mumbai attack

Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff narrowly escaped a targeted shooting in the Juhu area of Mumbai on Sunday evening. Three assailants on a motorcycle opened fire on his vehicle near Pushpa Park, discharging multiple rounds. While Shroff escaped without gunshot wounds, he sustained minor injuries from gunpowder and glass shards, and his driver was shot in the hand.

Following a swift inter-state operation, Mumbai Police and Rajasthan Police arrested three suspects in Kota, Rajasthan. The suspects, hailing from Haryana and Bihar, were reportedly attempting to flee to Nepal via Jaipur and Delhi. Investigations suggest the attack was a contract killing orchestrated by Anil Pandit, an associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, allegedly motivated by Shroff’s connections to actor Salman Khan.

Authorities revealed the shooters were lured with a contract of approximately ₹34,000 and promises of employment abroad. The gang reportedly used the ‘Jangi’ app for anonymous communication to avoid digital tracking. Mumbai Police have formed 15 special teams to continue the investigation, which is now being handled by the Crime Branch.
