Tiger Shroff registers with Mumbay FC ahead of Durand Cup 2026
Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff has been officially registered in the Mumbay FC squad for the 135th edition of the Durand Cup. Technical director Zoheb Khan confirmed the registration and said the club is making extra security arrangements because of the crowds the actor’s presence is expected to draw. Shroff has been training regularly with the team and is likely to feature in the final group‑stage match, which will be played in Shillong. Mumbay FC will travel to Shillong on 30 July 2026 for its group‑stage fixtures, where it will face Shillong Lajong FC, Nongkseh Sports & Cultural Club and Langsning FC. The club, launched in 2024 and owned by entrepreneur Ali Ahmed, rose quickly through Indian football, winning the Maharashtra State Club League and finishing third in I‑League 3 before earning its first Durand Cup spot.
