Tiger Woods reportedly to design £30m golf course in Northern Ireland

Tiger Woods and his TGR Design team have reportedly been selected to design a new £30 million championship links golf course at Bellarena, located near Magilligan on Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coast.

If confirmed, the project would mark Woods’ first course design commission in Ireland or Europe. The development, led by the Galgorm Collection, is intended to be the first new links layout in Northern Ireland in over a century. The proposed site would include an 18-hole championship course, a clubhouse with dining facilities, practice areas, a short course, and eight golf lodges.

A Causeway Coast and Glens councillor stated that they received a briefing confirming Woods’ involvement, though the Galgorm Collection has not officially confirmed the identity of the designer, noting they look forward to making an appointment in due course.
