Tiger Woods scheduled for first court appearance in Florida DUI case

Tiger Woods is scheduled to make his first court appearance on September 8 regarding a DUI arrest and rollover crash that occurred on Jupiter Island, Florida, in late March 2026. The incident involved Woods’ vehicle striking a truck at high speed before rolling onto its side. While he blew a 0.00 on a breathalyzer test, he reportedly refused a urine test, and officers discovered hydrocodone pills in his pocket during the arrest.

Woods has pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence with damage to property or person and faces additional charges related to his refusal to submit to testing. His attorney, Douglas Duncan, has managed previous hearings after Woods waived his arraignment and requested a jury trial. The September court date follows several postponements due to the discovery process, which includes prosecutors reviewing his hospital and prescription records.

Following the arrest, Woods spent time in a rehabilitation facility in Switzerland before returning to the United States in June. He has maintained a low public profile during this period, partly due to supporting his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, during her treatment for breast cancer.
