Tigre Deliberative Council launches Malvinas workshop

The Tigre Deliberative Council has launched the “Malvinas nos une” workshop, an institutional initiative primarily aimed at local students. The project, which received support from all political blocs, was proposed by councilman Diego Avancini.

The workshops feature Malvinas War veterans who share their personal experiences and engage in discussions with visiting students. The inaugural session included contributions from Captain Bernardo Schweiser, the first Argentine to set foot in the Malvinas in 1982. These sessions are held in the Alejandra Nardi hall as part of the council’s open-door policy for community activities.
