Tigre Municipality inaugurates collaborative school mural in General Pacheco

The Municipality of Tigre has inaugurated a collaborative mural in General Pacheco, located at the building shared by Escuela Primaria N°20 ‘Dr. Ricardo Gutiérrez’ and Escuela Secundaria N°15 ‘Carolina Aló’. The project, guided by the slogan ‘Cuidar es amor. Prevenir es proteger’ (To care is love. To prevent is to protect), was a participatory initiative involving students, teachers, and families.

The artwork integrates the identity of both institutions and their connection to the local Delta region. It aims to represent the primary school’s focus on play for childhood well-being alongside the secondary school’s pedagogical work regarding the prevention of violence in dating and the promotion of respectful relationships.

Local officials stated the mural serves to integrate the shared spaces of the building and encourage students to remain engaged with their school environment. School director Patricia Siegler noted that the intervention provides comfort and joy to the students, helping to value the shared courtyard used by children of all ages.
