Tigres del Licey announces 2026-27 coaching staff
The Tigres del Licey have announced their coaching staff for the 2026-27 season of the Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM). The staff will support manager Gilbert Gómez.
Wellington Cepeda returns to the organization as bench coach. Carlos Lugo will handle game planning, and Gerardo Casadiego will continue his role as pitching coach. César Cabral will serve as pitching coach assistant for a third consecutive year.
New additions and role changes include Alexis Candelario as bullpen coach, Josué Pérez as the new batting coach, and Fidel Peña as quality control coach. The staff also includes Luis Rivera for infield and third base, and Manny Martínez overseeing first base and outfielders.
