Tigres del Licey releases five players ahead of LIDOM Draft

The Tigres del Licey baseball organization has released five players from its native reserve as part of roster adjustments ahead of the Dominican Professional Baseball League (LIDOM) Rookie Draft.

The released players include pitchers Deivi García, Dany Jiménez, Bryan Pérez, and Gabriel Sosa, as well as outfielder Manolfi Jiménez. General Manager Audo Vicente confirmed the decision, noting that the move allows the team to create space within its reserves to incorporate new talent during the upcoming selection process.

Following their release, the five players are free to negotiate and sign with other organizations within the Dominican winter baseball circuit or participate in international professional leagues. Among those released is Deivi García, a 27-year-old right-hander who previously played in Major League Baseball with the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox.
