BSK Banja Luka defeats Čelik 3-2 in dramatic comeback

BSK Banja Luka secured a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory against Čelik in a match played under extreme weather conditions, with temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius.

Čelik initially took the lead through Hrvanović in the 28th minute. BSK responded in the second half with a penalty from Čavić and a goal by Radošević in the 73rd minute. Although Sijamija equalized for Čelik in the 79th minute, Keranović scored a decisive header in stoppage time to seal the win for BSK. The victory moves BSK to fifth place in the Bosnia and Herzegovina league, while Čelik remains in seventh.

BSK coach Bojan Puzigaća noted that he had to use “unpopular measures” during halftime to motivate his players to overcome the heat and the deficit. Following the match, Čelik coach Bojan Regoje expressed disappointment, stating the team should have settled the game in the first half and criticizing the defensive lapses in the final minutes.
