Tijana Mitreva returns to Mercede Basket Alghero

Mercede Basket Alghero has officially announced the return of guard Tijana Mitreva. The Macedonian player, who was trained in Italy, previously played for Alghero from 2016 to 2022.

Mitreva is known for her long-distance shooting and playmaking abilities. Her previous experience includes playing in A1 and the Euro Cup with Dinamo SS, as well as stints with Roseto, Moncalieri, and Alcamo. She returns to Alghero to compete in the A2 championship, a division she has not previously played in while representing Mercede.

General Manager Francesco De Rosa expressed satisfaction with her return, noting that her familiarity with the club's philosophy and environment will be an asset in helping younger players grow.
