TIJARA and ONSSA strengthen strategic partnership in Morocco

TIJARA, the National Federation of Distribution Professions and the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Industry, held its Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assemblies on September 24, 2026. Presided over by Ali Tazi, the federation's members unanimously adopted the proposed resolutions.

The meeting featured Dr. Abdelghani Azzi, acting Director General of the National Office for Food Safety (ONSSA), as the guest of honor. Discussions focused on strengthening the strategic partnership between TIJARA and ONSSA to support the national consumer goods ecosystem. Key objectives include renewing the partnership agreement and improving sector compliance through regular dialogue.

Concrete cooperation plans include training members on the ATLAS platform to streamline administrative interactions with ONSSA. Additionally, the parties discussed TIJARA’s participation in ONSSA’s advisory committee and the organization of technical conferences and meetings to enhance communication and food safety standards within the distribution and industry sectors.
