Tijuana authorities arrest suspect in disappearance and homicide case

Authorities in Tijuana have arrested Isaías Ismael “N”, also known as “El Bélico”, in connection with the disappearance and qualified homicide of Jonathan “N”.

According to the State Attorney General's Office (FGE), the incident occurred on April 20, 2026. The victim was reportedly traveling in a vehicle with his partner in the Zona Centro area when the suspect and another individual intercepted them. The victim allegedly requested the return of his vehicle, after which he was taken to a residence where he was threatened with firearms. The suspect reportedly removed the victim's partner from the scene to prevent her from witnessing the events inside the property.

Following an investigation, agents executed the arrest warrant in the Las Delicias II neighborhood on August 31, 2026.
