Tijuana: Father of prominent surgeon Narciso Alemán Díaz murdered

Narciso Alemán Díaz, the father of prominent Tijuana plastic surgeon Carlos Alemán Rodríguez, was shot and killed near the Santa María Estrella del Mar Parish in Playas de Tijuana.

The incident was reported around 12:42 PM on Friday. Municipal police found the victim lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds. Witnesses reported seeing a man fire shots before fleeing in a gray Hyundai vehicle with California license plates, heading toward the tunnel connecting Playas with the Salvatierra neighborhood.

Investigators from the State Attorney General's Office (Fiscalía General del Estado) processed the scene, which contained several spent shell casings. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
