Tijuana hosts 25th edition of Expo Tequila

The 25th edition of “Expo Tequila Tijuana 2026” has officially opened on Avenida Revolución, located between Octava and Novena streets. The event, which runs through October 18, features more than 40 tequila houses and approximately 200 different brands.

Gilberto Gamiño Herrera, president of the Tijuana Tourism and Conventions Committee (Cotuco), noted the event's long history of promoting tequila culture and attracting visitors from both sides of the border. Mario Murrieta, director of the Organizing Committee, stated that the goal is to educate visitors on the production processes, history, and traditions of the industry through tastings and demonstrations.

In addition to tequila showcases, the exhibition includes a gastronomic area offering traditional Mexican food such as tacos, carnitas, and huaraches, alongside musical performances featuring mariachi, norteño groups, and folklore spectacles.
