Tijuana lawyers demand justice after assassination of Narciso Alemán

Family members of retired lawyer Narciso Alemán Díaz and the Tijuana Bar Association are demanding justice following his fatal shooting in the Monumental section of Playas de Tijuana. The attack, which occurred in broad daylight on September 4, involved two armed individuals who reportedly fired multiple shots at the victim near his residence.

Witnesses and surveillance footage have been provided to the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) to assist in the investigation. The victim's son, surgeon Carlos Adrián Alemán Rodríguez, noted the brazen nature of the crime, highlighting that the shooting took place approximately 75 meters from a National Guard station and near several commercial establishments.

The Tijuana Bar Association has expressed concern over a perceived trend of violence targeting legal professionals in Baja California, citing a recent killing in Mexicali. The association is calling on authorities to implement specific security protocols and preventive measures to protect lawyers in the region.
