Tijuana Mayor orders evacuation in 3 de Octubre after landslide

Tijuana Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz has ordered the evacuation of 15 homes in the 3 de Octubre neighborhood following a landslide. Residents have been advised to move to shelters or stay with relatives while technical assessments of the terrain continue in coordination with the Baja California government.

To assist displaced families, the municipal government is providing food, blankets, lamps, portable stoves, water, and hygiene products. Additionally, the Municipal Police will maintain a permanent presence in the area to protect the abandoned homes and the belongings of the residents.
