Tijuana police arrest man for illegal deprivation of liberty

Municipal police in Tijuana arrested a 43-year-old man, identified as Maximino N, for the alleged illegal deprivation of liberty and causing injuries. The arrest occurred in the Granjas Familiares La Esperanza neighborhood following an emergency call.

Officers responded to reports of cries for help coming from a nearby construction site. Upon arrival, they discovered a man tied up with visible signs of violence. The victim identified the suspect, a co-worker, as the person who had held him captive since the early morning hours. The victim was transported to a hospital for medical treatment, and the suspect was placed at the disposal of the State Attorney General's Office.
