Tijuana police arrest man with rifle and active warrant

Municipal police in Tijuana detained Rigoberto “N” in the El Florido neighborhood while he was in possession of a rifle and a bulletproof vest. The arrest occurred during a preventive patrol on Thursday, October 22.

Authorities noted that the seizure took place near the site of a shooting involving a man and a woman at a suspected clandestine casino the previous day. Upon checking institutional systems, officers discovered that Rigoberto “N” had an active arrest warrant for aggravated illegal deprivation of liberty and domestic violence.

The individual and the seized equipment have been placed at the disposal of the Attorney General's Office (FGR) for further investigation.
