Tijuana woman dies by suicide after alleging botched plastic surgery

A 40-year-old woman, identified as Laura Rocío, died by suicide in Tijuana, Mexico, after posting videos on social media alleging that a plastic surgery procedure had ruined her life.

In her videos, Rocío displayed scars on her abdomen, lower back, and arms, which she claimed were the result of a botched operation. She specifically named Daniela León, a plastic surgeon at Capital Surgery, warning others not to undergo procedures with her.

Local reports indicate that Rocío took her life by jumping from the Viaducto Elevado Tijuana, a structure that opened in January. The incident follows her social media posts where she expressed distress over both the surgical outcomes and personal family issues.
