Tijuana's CESPT Begins Second Phase of Avenida Revolución Sanitary Network Upgrade

The Comisión Estatal de Servicios Públicos de Tijuana (CESPT) has launched the second stage of a 15 million‑peso project to renew the sanitary network on Avenida Revolución. The work focuses on the stretch between Sixth and Seventh streets, where more than 50‑year‑old sewer pipes will be replaced.

The upgrade includes installing 310 meters of new sewer pipe, 45 meters of water‑supply pipe, constructing four access manholes and rehabilitating 12 sanitary discharges. Director General Monica Vega Aguirre said the renewal will improve reliability, prevent leaks and spills, and enhance services for residents, businesses and visitors. The works are slated for completion by 19 November, subject to technical conditions.
