Tikkurila unveils ‘Heartland’ as 2027 color of the year

Tikkurila has unveiled ‘Heartland’ as its color of the year for 2027. The palette, inspired by earth, clay, and stone tones, aims to reflect a return to naturalness, stability, and a connection to the environment.

The color was introduced in Lithuania through a sensory experience at the Sanctum nature therapy complex. The event included an architectural tour led by Arūnas Liola, mindfulness practices, and a sensory table designed by Eglė Akelaitytė-Vertelkė.

Edita Danauskė, marketing manager at PPG Tikkurila, stated that the choice reflects a growing desire for luxury defined by the ability to slow down and find certainty amidst constant haste. Interior designer Rūta Bužinskaitė noted that nature-inspired colors are increasingly used to create tranquility in modern interiors.
