TikTok announces TikTok Awards Japan 2026 categories

TikTok has announced that the seventh annual TikTok Awards Japan 2026 will be held on December 4, 2026. The event aims to honor creators who have sparked new trends and shaped the platform's culture under the concept “The Ones Who Spark It.”

The awards will feature 11 categories divided into judging and voting divisions. A new category, “Lifestyle Creator of the Year,” has been introduced to recognize creators who share personal lifestyles and interests that resonate with a wide audience.

Judging categories include Creator of the Year, Artist of the Year, Anime of the Year, and TikTok for Good. Voting categories consist of Entertainment Creator of the Year, Short Drama of the Year, Sports Creator of the Year, Beauty Creator of the Year, Food Creator of the Year, Learning Creator of the Year, and the newly added Lifestyle Creator of the Year.
