TikTok Shop launches in Belgium and the Netherlands

TikTok will activate its TikTok Shop service in Belgium on 15 June 2026, targeting the country’s 4.3 million users and using local postal operator bpost for delivery. The launch coincides with roll‑outs in the Netherlands, Poland and Austria, expanding the platform’s presence across Western Europe.

The Dutch launch follows the service’s earlier introduction in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Ireland. TikTok Shop enables users to purchase items directly within the app, with creators earning commissions of 10‑30 % on sales. The platform reported $15 billion revenue in the United States for 2025 and $64 billion worldwide, underscoring the scale of its emerging social‑commerce channel.

Both markets require creators to be at least 18 years old, have a minimum of 1,000 followers and operate under European consumer‑rights protections, including a 14‑day return period overseen by national regulators such as the Dutch ACM.
