TikTok Shop reaches 110,000 active stores in Brazil

TikTok Shop has expanded significantly in Brazil, reaching approximately 110,200 active stores in the first half of 2026. Data from Momentum Works indicates that while the platform has seen a massive influx of sellers, only about 3.5% of these stores—roughly 3,500—have surpassed R$ 1 million in Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV).

The platform has experienced rapid growth in transaction volume. According to TikTok, the average daily value of goods sold increased 102 times between June 2025 and May 2026, while revenue from live commerce multiplied 161 times during the same period. This surge is driven by a 20-fold increase in daily live broadcasts.

Industry experts note that while the barrier to entry is low, maintaining consistent sales requires sophisticated management of inventory, pricing, and registration. Many sellers are integrating TikTok Shop with existing operations on marketplaces like Mercado Livre and Shopee using ERP systems like Dogama to centralize stock and order management.
