TikToker Andree Baudoin dies at 39 after breast cancer battle

Andree Greig Baudoin, a TikTok creator known as ‘Andreethegirl’, has passed away at age 39 following a four-year battle with stage four triple-negative breast cancer. Baudoin died on August 22 at a hospice facility in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Before her death, Baudoin recorded a six-minute video message intended for her followers to view once she had passed. In the clip, she described her TikTok account as a digital diary, noting that she started it so her three children could access videos of her journey at any time. She expressed that while she was not fearful of death, she felt devastated by the prospect of leaving her husband and children early.

Throughout her illness, Baudoin documented the realities of living with metastatic cancer, sharing details regarding her various treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation, which ultimately proved unsuccessful. She also shared her experiences with unconventional treatments and dietary changes with her more than 42,000 followers.
