TikToker Cao Ngọc Sáng arrested for illegal drug possession

Vietnamese authorities have arrested Cao Ngọc Sáng, a 36-year-old TikToker known online as ‘Sáng Con’, for illegal drug possession. Sáng, a resident of Thanh Hóa, gained social media notoriety for producing short videos depicting underworld lifestyles and brotherhood themes.

The Ministry of Public Security’s Drug Crime Investigation Department coordinated with local units to apprehend Sáng. Following the arrest, the Hanoi Police initiated a criminal case, charging Sáng and five other individuals with illegal drug possession, organizing the illegal use of drugs, and failure to report a crime. The investigation is ongoing to clarify the specific roles and actions of all suspects.
