TikToker Nguyễn Thị Bích Phượng arrested in Gia Lai

Nguyễn Thị Bích Phượng, a TikToker known as Phượng Nguyễn, has been arrested and detained by the Gia Lai Provincial Police in Vietnam. She is accused of abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State and the legal rights of organizations and individuals.

Authorities stated that while Phượng was originally a dance and swimming instructor who shared positive content, she began posting videos containing false information, derogatory language, and provocations following personal legal disputes. Despite warnings from officials, she reportedly created multiple additional accounts to continue spreading serious, unsubstantiated allegations.
