Tilburg to install new directional signage with local industrial design

The municipality of Tilburg is set to install new directional signage across several city areas, including the center, Dwaalgebied, Museumkwartier, Piushaven, and the Spoorzone, starting August 26. The project aims to replace outdated signs and improve navigation by including distances between areas and references to parking lots and public toilets.

The new signs will feature a local aesthetic, utilizing the ‘TilburgsAns’ typeface and colorful chimney motifs that reference the city’s industrial heritage. A total of 45 new sign installations are planned, including maps and standalone information boards, with work expected to conclude by September 18.
