Tilda Swinton to release first memoir in 2028
Oscar-winning actress Tilda Swinton will release her first memoir, titled ‘Material Evidence’, in the fall of 2028. The book will be published by the US-based publisher Farrar, Straus and Giroux (FSG).
Departing from traditional chronological life stories, the memoir uses physical objects to navigate Swinton's memories. The publisher noted that the narrative is structured around items such as a christening dress, a letter, a wooden leg, a sweatshirt, and a photograph. Swinton has described the project as ‘a book about curiosity’ and ‘an essay about wonder’.
