Tilray launches direct medical cannabis distribution in the UK

Tilray Brands has launched a direct-to-patient distribution channel for its medical cannabis flower products in the United Kingdom. This expansion is facilitated through the Lyphe Clinic and Lyphe Dispensary, following Tilray's acquisition of the Lyphe Group.

The new model aims to create an integrated value chain by connecting European cultivation and pharmaceutical manufacturing with clinical care, prescribing, and dispensing services. Products will be supplied from Tilray’s EU-GMP certified facility in Portugal to ensure a consistent quality framework for the UK market.

While the company seeks to strengthen its commercial leadership and patient access in regulated markets, uncertainties remain regarding reimbursement processes from statutory health insurance providers.
