Canale 5’s ‘Battiti Live’ Tops Italian Prime‑Time with 19.8% Share

On Thursday 30 July 2026, Canale 5’s music‑show ‘Battiti Live’ attracted 1.915 million viewers, achieving a 19.8 % share and beating Rai 1’s repeat of ‘Doc – Nelle Tue Mani 3’ (1.176 million, 12.3 % share) and Rai 2’s ‘Il Commissario Rex’ (764 000, 5.8 % share). Canale 5 also led access‑prime‑time with ‘Gira La Ruota della Fortuna’ (3.211 million, 22.7 % share) and ‘La Ruota della Fortuna’ (4.123 million, 27.8 % share).

Data from the Italian communications regulator Agcom for the first quarter of 2026 show Rai maintaining overall dominance in total audience, with about 8.1 million viewers (38.5 % share) in prime‑time and notable growth for its news programmes Tg2 (+17.1 %) and Tg3 (+13.7 %). Rai’s digital platforms also recorded high usage, with RaiNews and RaiPlay among the most visited VOD services.

Rival music programmes posted comparable results. Rai 1’s ‘Tim Summer Hits’, hosted by Carlo Conti and Andrea Delogu, averaged 1.909 million viewers (17.7 % share) across the season, while ‘Battiti Live’ averaged 1.862 million (18.1 % share). The final episodes recorded 1.809 million (15.95 % share) for ‘Tim Summer Hits’ and 1.915 million (19.79 % share) for ‘Battiti Live’.
